Here’s a picture of a Jeep AMC inline straight 6 cylinder cast iron block we performed a bore and hone to the cylinders for some new oversize pistons and rings. The second picture is what the cylinders looked like before we bored them out. We are a Las Vegas machine shop located right here in Southern Nevada that can perform all machine work in house. Some of the stuff we can do is: thermal cleaning, sandblasting, shotblasting, magnaflux for cracks, pressure test for leaks, align hone the housing bore, line bore the housing bore, machine for and install 4-bolt main caps, crankshaft grinding and polishing, crankshaft balancing, surface and square the decks of engine blocks, milling, bore and hone cylinders, connecting rod reconditioning, rod resizing, pin bushing replacement and machining, machine the small ends of connecting rods for pin bushings, 3 angle valve jobs on cylinder heads, engine assembly assembling, and test running our rebuilt engines on our run-in stands to break-in the camshaft and check for oil and coolant leaks.
