This is a Kenworth bolt-on or bolt-up style radiator that came in with an overheating problem. The radiator was all dirty and plugged internally. So we disassembled the radiator so we could boil the radiator core out in our ultrasonic cleaning tank. We then did a rod and repair to the core and ran the headers on both ends. The steel tanks and side brackets got thermal cleaned in our Bayco oven and then shotblasted in our Zero Blast-N-Peen shotblaster before getting a fresh coat of primer and paint. We then re-assembled the radiator back together with new inlet and outlet tank gaskets. Once the radiator was all assembled with new gaskets, nuts, bolts, & washers we gave it a one hour pressure test in one of our large radiator test tanks. If you have an overheating problem give us a call or stop by. We are here to help you with all of your heat transfer and cooling system needs. Big radiators to small radiators, oil coolers, charge air coolers, intercoolers, AC Condensers, and everything in between are not a problem for our cooling system guru’s. It doesn’t matter if it needs to be cleaned, welded, aluminum welded, steel welded, soldered, or brazed, we can handle it. Come and see our fully equipped radiator shop here in Las Vegas, Nv.
