This is a couple of large radiators we recently finished the rebuild, overhaul, and recondition on. These radiators are for some large open pit mining equipment for one of our mine customers. The orange radiator is off of a Hitachi EX5500 shovel. This EX5500 shovel is powered by two diesel engines so it actually takes two of these radiators. The Hitachi EX5500 radiator consists of a low temp radiator half as well as a high temp radiator half. It also has a center tank on each radiator so there are actually four individual cores that comprise this Hitachi EX5500 shovel radiator assembly. We also repair and overhaul the hydraulic oil coolers as well as the fuel coolers and oil coolers for the Hitachi EX5500 shovels as well. The yellow Mesabi style radiator is off of a Komatsu 830E AC haul truck that we just finished rebuilding. The Mesabi L&M style radiators have individual radiator tubes instead of radiator cores. This particular Komatsu 830E AC radiator is a 2-row and 3-row dual radiator assembly so it also is comprised of a low temp radiator half as well as a high temp radiator half. The complete radiator is comprised of 1,292 individual Mesabi L&M radiator tubes. This particular Komatsu 830E AC radiator cools a large Cummins diesel engine. The pictures of these two radiators is during final prepping and cleaning after the radiators were pressure tested in our radiator test tank. Both of these radiators received full and complete rebuilds which makes for an A1 Radiator repair that is second to none. We do our very best to rebuild our radiators to better than new condition. Next we will load these radiators on our 5th wheel gooseneck trailer and deliver them back to our customer at the mine in northern Nevada. Our closest mining customer is approximately 250 miles from our shop here in Las Vegas, Nv. while some of our mining customers are as far away as 1,000 miles.
