This is a filthy dirty radiator that came in off of an Allegro Phaeton RV with a diesel pusher engine in it. The motorhome was severely overheating on the last camping RV road trip so they removed the radiator and CAC (Charge Air Cooler) which is sometimes also referred to as an air cooler or intercooler. The road draft tube / hose or engine breather line wasn’t long enough which allowed the fan to suck up the oily residue from the breather line and suck it into the CAC and the radiator. This gives the fins and tubes a thin mist of oil which then causes any dirt and dust to stick to the fins and tubes of the radiator and cooler and it just continues to build up until there is virtually no airflow through the fins and across the tubes of the radiator and air cooler which then causes the rig to overheat. We first begin with a good pressure washing and then soak the radiator and charge air cooler into our ultrasonic cleaning tank. After they are completely clean inside and out we then proceed with the rod and repair, then pressure testing followed by a final clean, flush, prep, and paint job. If you are having an overheating problem give us a call or stop by. We are open 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and we are located in Las Vegas, Nv. right here in southern Nevada.
