Here’s some gas tanks we have cleaned, repaired, pressure tested, prepped, and painted for a complete fuel tank restoration job. Most of the gas tanks we get in are due to either leaks or rotten and varnished gas build up. We thoroughly clean the fuel tanks and then thermal clean them in our oven before boiling them out in our hot tank boil out and ultrasonic cleaning tanks. Once the gas tank is all clean we then perform any necessary repairs by welding and or soldering up any leaks and then they go through a rugged pressure test to make sure they don’t leak. Once the gas tank is all repaired and sealed up we give them a final cleaning, prepping, and paint job.
