Here’s some pics of a couple of Caterpillar mining equipment radiator cooling system packages we rebuilt & delivered back. The gray radiator on the orange stand is for a Caterpillar 6060 shovel. The cooling stack consists of an aluminum radiator & intercooler. We cut the tanks off both the radiator & the cooler, machined all four tanks to size & then tig welded them to new heavy duty high efficiency cores. After we get a good pressure test on the radiator & the intercooler, or aftercooler, we then bolt them together to complete the drop-in cooling stack. Behind the Cat 6060 shovel radiator & cooler stack is a Cat 834H wheel dozer hardnose radiator cooling package which we also did a complete rebuild to.
