Here are some pics of a Caterpillar 793F haul truck radiator during the assembly process. All of the tubes have been cleaned, qualified, ultrasonic cleaned & buffed and polished on their ends. The main radiator tanks & side frames have been cleaned, checked for cracks, welded & repaired where necessary and painted prior to assembly. All new upper & lower rubber grommet seals are installed into the cleaned & buffed bores of the tanks before the individual Mesabi radiator tubes are installed. A final pressure test of the completed radiator is done to ensure there are no leaks & the radiator is ready for another round of service with a new or rebuilt engine.
