Yamaha Rhino 660 Side by Side Cylinder Jug For Bore, Hone, and Surface

Here’s some pics of a Yamaha Rhino 660 side-by-side SxS cylinder jug that came in for a bore and hone and surfacing on the mill. Even with the popularity of the Polaris RZR and the Can-Am’s we still see a fair amount of machine work for the pioneer of the side-by-side. This one will be getting bored and honed for a Vertex piston with Teflon coated skirts. After boring and honing we will mount the cylinder jug on our milling machine to surface and square its deck.
