Here’s some torch work to the headers of one of the cores off of a Hitachi EX2600 shovel radiator. The solder is being melted off the headers around all of the tube-to-header joints to get them completely clean & down to raw metal. Once they are completely clean we will re-run the headers which is to solder around all of the tubes where they meet & protrude through the header plates. This radiator is off of a shovel at an open pit mine.
