Here’s some before & after pics of a heavy duty aluminum oil cooler that came in for cleaning & repairing. The core is a bar-and-plate design while the tanks, or end caps, are constructed of thick aluminum extrusions. After thoroughly cleaning the cooler inside & out we pressure test to locate the leaks. Once the leaks are located we make the necessary repairs by tig welding. A final pressure test ensures there aren’t any leaks.
