This is an aluminum cylinder head off of a Case 1830 Uniloader skidsteer tractor that came in for rebuilding and repair. It is a four cylinder gasoline powered engine. The engine is marked or marketed and sold as a Continental but it is actually made by Renault. It is a 1.1 liter Renault gas engine. The valve seats as well as the valves are all heavily worn and pitted so we will be replacing the valves as well as the valve seats before we perform the three angle valve job and surface to the cylinder head. The first 5 pictures are of the cylinder head when our customer initially dropped it off to us. The last 6 pictures are of the cylinder head after we got it all disassembled and cleaned up as well as a picture of one of the valves. As you can see in the pics the valve seats are heavily pitted and pounded out so we will be replacing the valve seats. The picture of the valve shows how badly pounded and worn all the valves are.
