Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 789C haul truck radiator we picked up for a complete overhaul. The radiator is comprised of fifty eight individual folded radiator cores. A handful of the cores are leaking in the solder joints so we will be removing the brass tanks from both ends of each core. Each core will receive a rod & repair & then individually pressure tested to ensure they are leak free. The radiator will then be assembled as a complete unit & the entire radiator assembly will be pressure tested as a complete unit to ensure the complete radiator is leak free & ready for another round of service.
