Here’s some pics of some radiator cores, or sections, for a Caterpillar 793C mining haul truck radiator we’re in the process of rebuilding. These cores are Cat part number 2W5540 & the 793C Radiator takes sixty of these cores. Each section receives a rod & repair, much like the radiator out of your everyday vehicle would if it were rebuilt at a radiator shop. After all sixty cores are rebuilt they are assembled into the main tanks & sideframes to make up the complete radiator assembly.
