Here are some before & after pics of a bolt-on, or bolt together, radiator that came in for repairing & rebuilding. The radiator is off of a Caterpillar 988 loader. This is a conventional type core radiator with flat or continued fins. The core ended up having several leaks coming from the tubes within the core. We recommended & our customer agreed to have us recore the radiator with a new heavy duty copper & brass core. We thermal cleaned & blasted the top & bottom tanks as well as the left & right side frame members prior to giving them a fresh coat of Cat yellow paint. We made new gaskets, bolted the tanks & sideframes to the new core & pressure tested the completely assembled radiator to ensure it has no leaks.
