Here are some pics of a Caterpillar D10 dozer equalizer bar, or hard bar, on our Rottler EM105H CNC Boring & Milling machine. The flat surfaces at both ends were worn which required milling the surfaces until they were flat & square. The surfaces were then welded up so they could be milled back to the correct thickness. All three bores were worn & out-of-round so we bored them until they were perfectly round as well as located in their correct positions. We then welded the bores up with our bore welder & then bored them to the correct bore size.
