This is a Chrysler Dodge 318 cast iron V8 cylinder block. The block is sitting in our Sunnen CK10 cylinder hone. We just pulled it off of our Rottler boring bar where we bored the cylinders for the new oversize pistons and rings. The block is now getting mounted and setup in the hone to have its cylinders finish honed to its new final size for the proper piston to wall clearance. The block is also in a raw form as we have also thermal cleaned the block in our Bayco cleaning oven. After the thermal cleaning process we cycled the block in our Zero Blast-N-Peen shotblaster which cleaned it to a raw cast iron finish.
