Here’s some pics of some aluminum oil cooler tanks we are CNC machining on our Rottler to the specific size for a recore. The original core of this oil cooler was bad so we are going to recore the cooler with a new heavy duty core. We begin by cutting the tanks off the bad core. We then write a program for the CNC machine to machine the tanks flat, square & to the specific size we need in order for the oil cooler to be the correct dimensions after we tig weld the tanks onto the new core.
