Here’s some before & after pics of a John Deere diesel cylinder head we reconditioned. The head is off of a 6101A inline six cylinder engine that powers a 744E loader. One of the intake valves as well as one of the exhaust valves were damaged & needed to be replaced. All the other valves were ground while all the valve seats were machined to complete the valve job. The deck was surfaced, or milled, flat & square for a good seal with a new head gasket.
