Here’s some pics of a Komatsu 930E-5 MESABI Radiator we rebuilt. Both the LTC (low temp circuit) & HTC (high temp circuit) radiator halves are comprised of all aluminum tubes, or cores. Though we don’t prefer nor recommend the aluminum tubes, we recondition each one individually & then buff & polish both ends the same as we do a Radiator with the copper tubes. The aluminum tubes are much less forgiving & robust than their copper counterparts. When it comes time for replacement we highly recommend changing to the copper tubes for their superior strength & robustness. Both the LTC & HTC Radiator halves are pressure tested individually after assembly to ensure there are zero leaks. Once both Radiator halves have passed the pressure tests they are assembled & bolted together as one large Radiator Cooling Module.
