Here’s some pics of a large backup generator radiator we rebuilt. The radiator consists of a Hi-Temp & Lo-Temp Dual Radiator assembly. This radiator mates up to an MTU DS3250 standby generator which is powered by a V-20 diesel engine. Each radiator half is made up of six individual conventional radiator cores. That’s twelve total cores which is equivalent to rebuilding twelve semi truck radiators. Albeit each of these cores is a bit larger than the typical semi truck radiator. Each of the twelve cores received a rod & repair & extensive cleaning in our ultrasonic cleaning tanks. We delivered the radiator to the site of the generator where the crane lifted the radiator off of our stand & lowered it straight into the generator enclosure. We helped with the setting of the radiator & assisted with bolting it back in place.
