Here’s some before & after pics of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger that came in. This heat exchanger is an oil cooler which is cooled by the engine coolant. This is referred to as a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger rather than an air-to-liquid unit. After we got it all cleaned up we gave it a rigorous pressure testing to make sure it is sealed up & ready to go.
