Here’s some pics from start to finish of our custom pulley machining capabilities. This is a three groove crank pulley for a Cadillac. Custom pulleys start off as a long solid round hunk of 6061 aluminum. We sometimes make the pulleys out of steel but most of the time out of aluminum. After we cut the solid round to length it gets mounted in the lathe for machining. The pictures pretty much tell the story.
