Here’s some pics of a Toyota 4-Runner V6 engine we finished to a shortblock assembly. After cleaning & checking the block, crank & rods for cracks we performed all the machine work. The block got the housing bore align honed, the cylinders bored & honed for new oversize pistons & the decks surfaced & squared. The crankshaft got away with just a polish to its rod & main journals. The rods got their big ends reconditioned & the small ends received new wrist pin bushings which we finish honed to size. Installing the main bearings, crankshaft, rod bearings into the rods & then the pistons & rods slammed into the block & the shortblock assembly is completed.
