Here’s some progress pics of a compact diesel engine we’re rebuilding. The engine is a tier four Perkins 1204E four cylinder diesel engine that goes into an Xtreme Manufacturing XR4030 telehandler. We have the engine shorblocked which means the crankshaft, pistons, rings, & connecting rods are installed in the block. Included in the assembly are all new main, rod & cam bearings. Next to be installed is the cylinder head but we’re in limbo waiting for the new head bolts & fuel injectors to arrive which are coming from England. We will post more pics as we progress with the assembly of this engine.
