Many of the large mining equipment from companies like Hitachi, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Atlas Copco, & Liebherr just to name a few are going together to be displayed at the 2016 MinExpo here in Las Vegas, Nv. Some of us here at the Motor Mission crew went to take a look at some of the equipment that utilize the large radiators, coolers, and cooling modules that we rebuild and repair on a regular basis. The first picture in this post is a Hitachi shovel. The second picture in this post is our trailer with a recent delivery to one of our mining customers with a Hitachi EX5500 shovel radiator and a Komatsu 830E AC haul truck L&M Mesabi style radiator both of which we rebuilt. The Hitachi shovel takes two of those radiators, one to cool each of the two engines onboard the machine. MinExpo 2016 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Motor Mission Machine & Radiator will be in attendance to see what the manufacturers have on tap for their new lines of equipment and cooling system modules.
