Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar D10T hardnose grill guard going through the rebuilding process. The upper left & right mounting blocks were badly worn so we cut them off, machined up some new ones out of a high grade alloy steel & welded them onto the hardnose. The lower bolting block for the grill gates was bent & the bolt holes were completely stripped of all the threads. We cut it off, machined a new one & welded it in place. The left side hinge brackets for the left grill gate were both broke off so we machined some new ones & welded them in place. More to come on this project as it progresses.
