Here’s some before & after pics of a Cummins diesel ISX cylinder head we had in for a valve job & surface rebuild. The Cummins ISX head is a DOHC (dual overhead cam) inline six cylinder that weighs just under five hundred pounds. It has four valves per cylinder for a total of twenty four. After passing the magnaflux & pressure test the cylinder head received a complete valve job & surface to the deck. After the rebuilding was all done new cam bearings were installed. It is now ready for another round of service.
