Here’s some pics of a bracket, or blade hanger, on our CNC boring & milling machine. This piece attaches to the underside of the drawbar on a 16G Caterpillar grader. The blade, or moldboard, hangs from & slides side-to-side on the bottom of this bracket. The bores where the blade hanger pins up to the drawbar were badly worn & out-of-round. We first machined the bores oversize until they were machined perfectly round. We then welded the bores with our bore welder & now the welded bores are being machined with the right angle drive line boring setup back to the spec size.
