Here are some pics of a Caterpillar #151-5747 blade stabilizer that we had in for repair & rebuilding. Often referred to as an A-Frame, the blade stabilizer mounts behind the blade on an RTD, or rubber tire wheel dozer. We begin by boring the larger bore in the center oversize until it is round & straight. We then weld the bore back up with our automatic bore welder. We then mount the blade stabilizer back on the Rottler CNC boring & milling machine & machine the bore back to size for the new press-fit bushings. The same procedure is then done to the two smaller bores on the other end of the A-Frame. Once all the bores are machined back to spec the new bushings are pressed in place & the new pins are installed & checked for the proper clearances. For all your small or large parts repair, welding & machining please don’t hesitate to contact us.
