Here are some before, during & after pics of an old antique cast iron water pump we had in for repair & rebuilding. The water pump is off of a Diamond T with a Hercules JXLD type engine. We had to machine a new shaft as the original one was extremely pitted & worn. We then machined the housing for modern type seals. We machined new bushings for the new shaft & seals to ride & seal on. Completely assembling the water pump with our newly machined parts, updated seals & testing for leaks brought this relic back to life.
