Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar D10T2 Dozer Ripper Table being machined on our Rottler EM105H Multipurpose CNC boring & milling machine. The bores were worn out-of-round so we machined the bores with the RAD (right angle drive) to get them perfectly straight & round. We then welded the bores with our bore welding fixture & then final bored, or machined, the bores to size. The faces on each side of the bores were also worn so those surfaces had to be built up & machined flat & square.
