Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 18M grader circle & drawbar assembly we delivered back to one of our mine customers. We gave the circle, the drawbar, the drive, the drive motor & the blade hanger, or carrier, a complete repair & rebuild. The teeth of the circle were worn down to a sharp edge which required six segments to be cut out & new segments welded in place. All areas that were worn & damaged were machined, welded & machined back to the OE specs before final assembly with all new wear parts. After the unit is all assembled we hydraulically test run the unit to ensure it spins free & smooth in both directions as it should with no hesitation & binding.
