Here are some before, during & after pics of a Caterpillar D10T2 hardnose, or nosecone, cooling package we picked up for a complete repair, rebuild & overhaul. The heart of this cooling package is a MESABI radiator which received a complete rebuild. Both aftercoolers had to be replaced on this one due to them having multiple leaks due to cracked tubes. The auxiliary oil cooler & ac condenser were both cleaned, internally flushed, pressure tested, repaired & re-pressure tested to ensure they are leak free. We machined, welded & re-machined both yokes & installed new inner & outer bushings in the bores where the yokes install into the hardnose. The complete cooling package has been restored to new condition & ready for another round of service.
