Here’s some pics of the parts of a Caterpillar 16M grader axle we’re rebuilding. The ends of the main axle frame are worn where the lean arms are installed. The inner faces are welded up & then the inner faces are machined to provide a tight & solid mounting of the lean arms at each end of the axle. This one came in with broken spindle housings & hubs so new replacements are ready to go on the axle assembly.
