This is a Duramax diesel engine block for a 2006 Chevy Silverado. We fit this Duramax block with some Wagler billet main caps & ARP main studs & then line bored the housing bore. The decks were machined flat & square on our Rottler CNC machine before the cylinders were bored for the new oversize Silvolite pistons. We then installed a torque plate to the decks with ARP head studs & then torque plate honed the cylinders to their finished size in our Sunnen CK10 cylinder hone.
