Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 793F haul truck MESABI Radiator Module Cooling Package we recently reconditioned. This radiator module assembly came in with extensive damage due to the truck it was in colliding into another haul truck. Numerous pieces & parts required many hours of straightening & tweaking to get them back in shape [...]
This is a radiator module we rebuilt for a Komatsu 930E-5 haul truck. The radiator is a MESABI which utilizes aluminum tubes, or cores. The radiator was leaking due to a cracked tube. External fouling with dirt & rocks was substantial within the tubes & fins of the lower section of the radiator. We replaced [...]
Here’s some pics of an aluminum bar-and-plate heat exchanger that came in leaking. It's an oil cooler for an Epiroc drill rig drilling machine. There was a crack in one of the welds where the tank is welded to the core. We ground down the weld area at the crack & prepped the crack for [...]
Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 834H RTD (Rubber Tire Dozer) cooling package we delivered back to one of the mines after we gave it a complete rebuilding service. The hardnose, or nosecone, contains AMOCS type radiator sections (cores), an oil cooler, the aftercooler, hydraulic fan motor, fan blade & electrical wiring harnesses. We completely [...]
Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 18M Grader Axle we have in for a complete rebuild overhaul. The Axle is mounted to our Rottler CNC machine which we have programs written for each of these parts that we machine & rebuild on a regular basis. All the bores are first machined, or bored, perfectly round [...]
Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 789D haul truck radiator we rebuilt & delivered back to the mine site. This radiator has the Cat folded cores, or sections, which each need to be rodded & repaired. This one came in with some severe damage due to the fan coming off & flying into it. It [...]
Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 18M Grader Front End Axle & a pair of hydraulic steering cylinders we delivered back to one of our mining customers. We did a complete rebuild to the grader axle as well as the hydraulic steering cylinders. All the pieces & parts were disassembled, cleaned, checked for cracks & [...]
Here’s some pics of a hardnose cooling package we picked up for a Caterpillar 834H RTD (Rubber Tire Dozer) for repair & rebuilding. Inside the hardnose are radiator core sections which are of the AMOCS modular cooling system configuration. Along with the radiator cores / sections is a modular oil cooler, aluminum aftercooler & the [...]
Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 789D folded core radiator we picked up for a complete repair rebuild. This one has taken a hit from the fan so it has some heavily damaged cores. Some of the steel pieces & parts have taken a beating as well. We'll get it apart & see what all [...]
Here’s some pics of a couple dogbones we reconditioned. The links, or dogbones, are for Komatsu 830E haul trucks. One of them is for the older 830E-1 truck & the other one is for a newer 830E-5 truck. We removed the spherical bearings & removed all the paint so we could magnaflux them for cracks. [...]
