Here's some custom flanged split sleeves we machined. The sleeves start out as a solid round piece of 4140 steel. Here's a Caterpillar C15, 3406E style, cylinder head that came in for a cleaning, magnaflux for cracks, pressure test and inspection. The engine is getting an in-frame rebuild so they wanted to make sure the head was good before putting it back on. We ended up detecting some cracks in multiple cylinders.
