This is a V6 Toyota engine that came in for a shortblock rebuild and a valve job & surface to the cylinder heads. Here's some custom flanged split sleeves we machined. The sleeves start out as a solid round piece of 4140 steel. Here's a Caterpillar C15, 3406E style, cylinder head that came in for a cleaning, magnaflux for cracks, pressure test and inspection.
