Here’s some pics of a crankhole bolt-on radiator we did a repair & rebuild to, or what we call, a rod & repair. This radiator has a crankhole, or crank box in it for a PTO (power take-off) to pass through it. We repair & rebuild these radiators for Republic Services, Burrtec & Waste Management for their Autocar garbage trucks. After we perform a rod & repair which includes rebuilding the the crankhole area of the radiator core they are pressure tested to ensure they have zero leaks. This ensures that the radiator is ready for another round of service.
