This is a Caterpillar 740 dump truck radiator, oil cooler, and AC condenser we rebuilt for one of our mining customers in Northern Nevada. This haul truck is a Caterpillar & Volvo machine. Many people refer to this type of machine as a Wiggle Wagon because it is an articulating dump truck. Our customer sent us the entire shroud assembly with the top cover which houses the radiator, oil cooler, and AC condenser along with the hydraulic fan and motor assembly. We completely disassembled the entire unit so we could clean and rebuild every part in the assembly. The radiator, oil cooler, and AC condenser were all cleaned in our boil out tank and then deep cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaning machine. The radiator is comprised of an aluminum core with plastic inlet and outlet radiator tanks (end caps) which were removed so we could rod and repair the radiator. We then put the radiator in our plastic tank radiator assembly fixture and reattached the plastic tanks to the aluminum radiator core with new rubber gasket seals. Once we had it all cleaned up and rebuilt we gave them a nice new paint job before re-assembling the pieces back together into the shroud assembly and top cover. We then delivered it to our customer up at the mine. For all your offroad equipment radiator, cooler, condenser, and heat exchanger needs please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
