Here are some pics of a Caterpillar 16M grader axle we did a complete premium rebuild to. The Axle was completely disassembled & cleaned so we could inspect each piece & part for cracks as well as any other imperfections. We then machined all worn & cracked areas, prepped for welding & welded where necessary. Final machining was done after welding in order to bring all the dimensions & bores back to the OE specifications. Final assembly of the axle was completed with all new bushings, pins, seals & hardware.
