Here are some pics of a Caterpillar 18M grader circle, drawbar (A-Frame), drive motor & blade hanger we did a complete repair & overhaul to. All the bores were machined, welded & bored back to the OE specs for new bushings & pins. The teeth on the backside of the circle were worn so we cut them out & welded in six new segments of teeth. The drive motor received a complete rebuild with all new clutch plates, discs, worm & pinion gears. We assembled the circle, drawbar & blade hanger all together with new brass shims & wear strips & test ran all the hydraulic functions to make sure it runs smooth. It’s ready to be mated with a moldboard & start grading those haul roads.
