Here’s some Ford Powerstroke diesel connecting rods that came in for reconditioning. These rods are tapered on the small ends. Because the wrist pin bushings are tapered they require special fixtures for removing & installing them. Once the new bushings are installed we bore them on our Robbi pin boring machine & then we final hone them to size on our Sunnen rod honing machine.
