Here’s a few pics of a Caterpillar 16G grader circle drive motor we have in for rebuilding. One of the bores that houses one of the internal bearings was worn out-of-round which allowed the bearing to just slip in & out. The bearing requires an interference fit so we had to machine the bore oversize & round & then press a repair sleeve in place so the bearing could then be pressed in place as well. After assembly with the new parts it is ready for a fresh coat of paint & delivery back to our customer.
