Here’s some pics of a Caterpillar 16G Grader Circle and Drawbar A-Frame assembly we repaired & did a complete rebuild to. All the component parts were blasted down to raw metal so we could dye check for cracks. Once all the cracks were identified we prepped & welded them up. All the worn bores were line bored back to spec after welding up as needed. The circle assembly required 5 segments to be welded in place after the bad & worn teeth were cut out. Once everything was back in spec we assembled the complete circle & drawbar assembly with all new bushings, pins, brass shims & all other worn & wearable parts. The moldboard got some new G.E.T. (ground engagement tools) as well.
